Two Queens police precincts welcomed new commanding officers earlier this week.
Both the 104th Precinct and the 114th Precinct got new leaders on Monday.
The 104th Precinct, which covers Ridgewood, Middle Village, Maspeth and Glendale, welcomed Captain Louron Hall on Monday.
Hall most recently served as the commanding officer of the 100th Precinct in the Rockaways, where he was since 2018. The 100th Precinct will be now be led by Captain Carlos Fabara.
Council Member Eric Ulrich commended Hall’s work in the Rockaways on Twitter and Council Member Robert Holden welcomed Capt. Hall in person and said he looked forward to working with him to address quality of life issues in the district.

Hall joined the NYPD in July 2002 and has also served on the Patrol Borough Queens South and with the 107th Precinct.
Hall takes the reins of the 104 from Deputy Inspector Victoria Perry. In a post, Perry thanked the community and her colleagues for their hard work and dedication.
“They say ‘all good things come to an end.’ I like to say all good things become great memories,” she wrote. “Take care all & stay safe!”
Meanwhile the 114th Precinct, covering Astoria and portions of Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights, welcomed Captain Ray Jenkins the same day.
Jenkins joined the NYPD in July 2004 and was most recently assigned to the NYPD Detective Bureau Queens before landing the job at the 114th. He also served on the Gang Squad Queens North and at multiple Brooklyn precincts during his career.
Jenkins took over the precinct from Deputy Inspector Osvaldo Nunez, who became head of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
