Police Looking for Ridgewood Wig-Snatching Duo

Police are looking for a wig-snatching duo that stole thousands of dollars worth of cosmetic wigs from a Ridgewood studio space last week.

The two women broke into One Eyed Studios, located at 1639 Centre St., last Wednesday, April 22 around 3:40 p.m., by forcing open the front door, police said.

The women then grabbed several cosmetic hair wigs worth $13,000 and fled.

They were last seen wearing all dark clothing with protective masks covering their faces. They’re believed to be 20 to 30 years old, police said.
