Man Steals Cell Phones, Cash From Truck Along Fresh Pond Road: NYPD

Police are searching for a man wanted for stealing cell phones and money out of a delivery truck in Ridgewood last month.

The robbery happened at around 9:40 a.m. on Nov. 20, when the thief entered the parked truck in front of the Key Food at 66-82 Fresh Pond Rd. and stole two cell phones along with $500 in cash, police say.

The 31-year-old driver and victim, meanwhile, was unloading the truck at the time.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black winter jacket, black pants, black sneakers and glasses.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the 104th Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-2723.
