Man Robs Bank in Woodhaven Friday, Makes Off With $1,800: NYPD

The Queens County Savings Bank in Woodhaven was robbed Friday and the perpetrator left with more than $1,800 in cash.

Police said that a man entered the 80-35 Jamaica Ave. bank at around 1:10 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The teller handed him $1,830 and the suspect fled.

Police released a photo of the suspect who was walking in the vicinity of Forest Parkway and 86th Avenue after the robbery.

Anyone with information in regard to the robbery is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
