Man Breaks Woman’s Arm in Ridgewood Cycling Incident, Flees the Scene: NYPD

Police are searching for a hit-and-run cyclist who plowed into a 59-year-old woman in Ridgewood and left the victim with a broken arm.

According to police, on April 10, around 6 p.m., the cyclist was riding his bike near 67 Avenue and Fresh Pond Road when he struck the woman with the bike and then fled the scene. Surveillance footage shows that the man had been riding the bike on the sidewalk.

The suspect is seen wearing a dark hooded shirt, light pants, black sneakers and sunglasses.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
