Man Accompanied By Two Children Robs Frozen Yogurt Shop at Atlas Park Mall: NYPD

April 13, 2021 By Allie Griffin

A man, accompanied by two children, robbed a frozen yogurt shop at a Glendale shopping center earlier this month.

The man brought the two children along as he broke into Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, located at 80-60 Cooper Ave. in the Shops at Atlas Park, just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, April 4, police said.

He broke open a window at the shop and took an item, which he handed to one of the kids before the three ran off. The NYPD didn’t immediately know what property had been stolen.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or on Twitter @NYPDTips. All calls are strictly confidential.

And this is why a percentage of kids in the African American community grow up and run a afoul of the law, because some of the older kids or adults teach them to do crap like this. It’s no one else’s fault except their own. But when they have to deal with the Police everyone wants to blame the Officers instead of putting the blame where it rightfully belongs, on the individual committing the crime.
