Hundreds of jobs are up for grabs Wednesday as part of an online recruitment fair.

The virtual fair, which is being spearheaded by Acting Queens Borough President Sharon Lee, will take place via the video-conferencing application Zoom on June 3 between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The event seeks to connect out-of-work residents with recruiters and employers from essential industries like healthcare, transportation, retail and security.

Participants will also have the opportunity to hear presentations from industry leaders followed by an interactive Q and A session.

Jobs on offer include roles as COVID-19 contact tracers with NYC Health + Hospitals as well as work with the U.S. Census Bureau that pays $28 an hour.

The United States Tennis Association, Queens College, Child Center of New York, Council for Airport Opportunity, Queens Center for Progress, Watch Guard 24/7 and Workforce1 are also seeking qualified candidates.

It marks the third online recruitment event to be held by the Queens Borough President’s office during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fair comes just days before the city begins to reopen after a near three-month shutdown.

Borough President Lee said that many employers are still hiring despite the downturn.

“The road to recovery and rebuild is on the horizon, and we want Queens to be at the forefront,” Lee said.

Job seekers who want to participate are asked to register before 2 p.m. June 2 by clicking on this link.

A live stream of the Jobs Recruitment Fair will be available to watch here.
