Starting on Friday, Sept. 29, and ending on Sunday, Oct. 1, the two unknown perpetrators were reported to police riding around in a red moped and targeting victims in the early morning hours. Police say a 39-year-old man called 911 after he was forcibly removed from his vehicle while in the driver’s seat of his 2018 Ford Explorer in the vicinity of Metropolitan Avenue and 78th Street, on Monday, Oct. 2.
