Truck driver flees scene of MTA bus crash in Middle Village that left 9 passengers injured: NYPD

Aug. 28, 2023 By Anthony Medina Police from the 104th Precinct responded to the scene of a vehicle collision with an MTA bus in Middle Village that left nine passengers injured last week.  Police say an eastbound Q54 bus was traveling toward Jamaica Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 22, and was stopped in traffic at approximately 10:40 p.m., when an unknown vehicle driving in front suddenly reversed to avoid a garbage truck.
