Man Attacked, Robbed Near Cooper and Wyckoff Avenues: NYPD

Police are searching for three men who they say are behind a violent robbery that took place in Ridgewood earlier this month.

On March 1, at around 12:45 a.m., a 20-year-old man was walking near Cooper and Wyckoff Avenues when he was approached by the three wanted males.

The assailants began punching the man in the face and body, and stole his backpack containing Beats earphones, an iPhone X, a laptop and Jordan sneakers. The three suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

EMS responded to the incident and transported the victim to the hospital for minor abrasions to his face, police say.

Images of the three suspects taken from security camera footage have been released by police.
