Man Violates Restraining Order, Attacks Ex at Ridgewood Nail Salon: NYPD

Police are trying to locate a young man wanted for a violent assault and violation of a restraining order that took place in Ridgewood last Wednesday.

The assailant’s 20-year-old ex-girlfriend, who has a restraining order against him, was at work on Feb. 13 at Charlene Angel Nail Salon, located at 1807 Grove St., when the young man entered around 3:30 p.m. and began to punch her in the face and throw things at her, an NYPD spokesperson said. At one point, he also hit the victim across the head with a bucket.

The man, whose name was not released by authorities, is described as Hispanic, 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighing approximately 170 pounds.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s location is asked to call the 104th Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-2723.

The FDNY had a massive response to a three-alarm house fire in Richmond Hill on Wednesday morning.

After receiving a call at 10:22 a.m. reporting a fire on the second floor of a two-story private home at 87-35 126th St., firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke billowing from the wood-frame building. The FDNY transmitted a second alarm at 10:33 a.m. after the fire extended to a brick two-story home next door.
