Two armed men broke into a Kew Gardens Hills house during the early hours Wednesday morning,  struck the homeowner in the head, tied him up with duct tape and then drove off with the victim’s Mercedes Benz.

The home invasion took place at around 3:35 a.m. in the vicinity of 70th Road and 137th Street when the pair stormed into the 43-year-old victim’s home with firearms, which were used to bash the victim in the head.

The pair then duct taped the victim, police said, before taking his debit card, car keys, vehicle titles, personal papers, and his Mercedes Benz.  The victim suffered swelling, abrasions, and cuts to his head and then went to an area hospital for treatment in stable condition.

Police have release video footage of the suspects.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
