Police have arrested two teens–a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old–in the assault and robbery of a 37-year-old man that took place in Ridgewood last week.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 3, the victim was walking along Woodbine Street near 60 Place when he was allegedly approached by a group of four males, including the 13-and 17-year-old, who demanded money.
When the victim told them he had no money, they began pushing and punching him, police said.
The group of assailants then stole the victim’s book bag and fled the scene.
The 13-and 17-year-old were arrested near Cornelia Street and Onderdonk Avenue around 1 a.m., 30 minutes after the incident, police said. The two teens, both residents of Brooklyn, were charged with robbery, assault and disorderly conduct.
The remaining two suspects are still at large.

Street urchins or do they have parents? Are they from broken homes? Who’s going to help that 13 year old? Sad and they’ll get put in the system and spit out again to do more harm. Parents need to parent!
you can tell how bad the area is by the lack of community commenters there are. nobody wants to live in the ridgewood ghetto.
