Man Found Dead With Cut Wounds in His Car in Maspeth: NYPD

A 68-year-old man was found dead in his car in Maspeth this morning with cuts to his neck and wrist, according to police.

Police received a 911 call at 7:06 a.m. today that a man was unconscious in the back seat of a vehicle parked in the vicinity of 43rd Street and 57th Avenue.

Officers discovered the man dead in the vehicle with multiple cut wounds. A knife was also recovered from the car.

Police have not determined whether his death was the result of foul play or suicide.

The medical examiner is working on the cause of death.

The family has yet to be notified.
