From Dec. 6 through Jan. 5, The Cool Design Show debuts at The Shops at Atlas Park at 80-00 Cooper Ave. with a theme of joy, gift-giving and unity. The show is on from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The pop-up features 15 creators and brands from eight countries whose products are on display. The exhibit features interactive pet toys, made-to-order paper bouquets, resin jewelry and nordic style 100 percent cotton-made lamps, among others. Several of the products are available for sale at the show.

Most of the products are handmade by independent creators and small businesses from around the world. The Cool Design Show curates the products in an installation space where visitors can see, touch, feel, smell and even taste the products that can’t be found in retail stores.

Kai Yi Chu, the founder of The Cool Design Show, believes that a great design deserves great appreciation.

“Supporting creators and brands with your wallet is one way to appreciate but not the only way,” Chu said in a statement. “Visit their sites to learn more, take a selfie and share, shout out ‘cool’ on a product, follow these masterminds on social, etc.”

Tickets cost $20 for adults, $10 for children 6 to 18 years old and are available for purchase online or by texting COOL2020 to 833-945-1896. Children 6 and under have free admission.
