Police are looking for a man who replicated a woman’s debit card and withdrew roughly $3,000 from ATMs throughout Queens and Manhattan over a seven day period in October.
The suspect made a total of 17 unauthorized transactions between Sunday, Oct. 20 and Saturday Oct. 26, according to the NYPD.
Police say that the man created a counterfeit card to withdraw the cash. He was caught on CCTV making a transaction at an ATM in Maspeth Mini Mart at 69-28 Grand Ave in Greenpoint.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap, grey hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
