Boy Beaten by 3 Teens Who Tried to Take His Phone: NYPD

Police are looking for three teens who allegedly beat up a 12-year-old boy and attempted to steal his cellphone near Juniper Valley Park last month.

The incident occurred in front of 69-75 Juniper Blvd. South on Thursday, Sept. 12 at around 5:20 p.m., according to the NYPD.

A 12-year-old boy was approached by three teens as he was walking along the boulevard. One of the suspects punched the boy in the face while they demanded his cellphone.

The boy managed to escape without losing his phone. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspects as being in their late teens. At least two of the suspects were riding bicycles.
