Man Robs Investors Bank on Myrtle Avenue: NYPD

A man robbed a Ridgewood bank last week and made off with $430 in cash.

The suspect entered Investors Bank, located at 58-25 Myrtle Ave., at about 11:40 a.m. Friday, June 21, and pretended to have a weapon under his shirt. He demanded cash and the teller complied.

The suspect then fled the bank in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Police released a photo of the suspect.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspect is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
