Man Punched in the Face in Ridgewood Assault: NYPD

Police are searching for a man wanted in an assault that took place in Ridgewood earlier this month.

On Thursday June 6, around 9 a.m., the 37-year-old victim got into a verbal dispute with an unidentified suspect, who then punched the victim in the face and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Wyckoff Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 40 years old, 280 pounds, with dark eyes and long brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the 104 Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-2723.
