Police are searching for a woman allegedly responsible for stealing 15 packages from a Ridgewood apartment building last month.

On April 2, the woman allegedly entered into the lobby of 803 Wyckoff Ave. and made her way to the unlocked mailroom. Once inside, police says she stole the packages and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The theft was later noticed by a 30-year-old male building employee while was reviewing security video around 9 p.m. that evening.

The total value of the packages has not yet been determined, police said.

The woman is described as Hispanic with black hair and is in her 20s or 30s. She was last seen wearing all dark clothing. Surveillance footage shows the woman leaving the mailroom carrying a red backpack.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

We have mail stolen from our lobby all the time in Sunnyside. They have footage of the guy doing it, too. I even went to the precinct in person to report it. Still, it continues.

It will continue until you stop it.
The citizens are forced to now take action because when you report a crime in progress, it takes two hours for officers to respond.
Then you will get blamed for racially profiling someone who you just witnessed commit a felony.
The police are only there for photo op’s.

I’m doing the disadvantaged MAGA-ridden community a service by teaching them 2nd-grade grammar.

You don’t need an apostrophe to pluralize words.
