A new Spring Festival is coming to Ridgewood later this month.
On Saturday May 18, City Council Member Robert Holden, in conjunction with the Department of Parks and Recreation, will be transforming Rosemary’s Playground into a celebration of the changing seasons.
From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Rosemary’s Playground, located on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Woodbine Street, will be outfitted with inflatable bounce houses, arts and crafts activities, games with prizes, music and more. The family-friendly event will be free to attend.
The festival will have a number of complimentary snacks available, including cotton candy, soft pretzels and popcorn.
Representatives from the FDNY and the Queens Library will be onsite, providing information and handouts about their respective organizations.
Holden began hosting seasonal festival series throughout the district late last year, with several fall festivals held in October and November. His first-ever Spring Festival was held last weekend at Juniper Valley Park.
