Police arrested a Brooklyn man Saturday shortly after he robbed a woman at a Bank of America ATM in Ridgewood.
Police say that 19-year-old Josiah Bryant robbed a woman inside the Ridgewood Bank of America branch at 59-01 Myrtle Ave, around 2:10 p.m.
The woman was about to deposit $900 into the ATM when Bryant pushed her aside, grabbed the money, and fled on George Street.
Officers from the 104th Precinct found Bryant, with the cash on hand, about 20 minutes later on George Street near Cypress Avenue.
Bryant now faces charges of robbery in the third degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree, and trespassing.
Bryant, who was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court Sunday, has been ordered to reappear in court April 30.
According to court records, this is not the first time Bryant has face theft charges.
Bryant was also arrested on four separate occasions in the past six months on charges of grand larceny, petit larceny, and criminal mischief.
